2022 FLYCA Partnership Award

The 11th Masonic District recently presented two $500 scholarships to graduates of  the Florida Youth ChalleNGe Academy (FLYCA) based at Camp Blanding. FLYCA's mission is to empower at-risk youth to become successful, productive citizens by leading, training and mentoring them through a highly disciplined and motivational environment, free from outside distractions. These scholarships are to enable these cadet graduates to continue their education either in college or trade school.

Later in the ceremony, the 11th Masonic District Association was presented a Partnership Award for continued involvement & support with FLYCA.  For the past several years, the 11th Masonic District Association and lodges of the 11th District have provided scholarship funds to graduates selected by FLYCA staff.  The Award was accepted by RWDDGM Kent Warman and W:. Erin Riva, Association President.  Also pictured are several Brothers who attended the graduation ceremony.
